About INTERNATIONAL PROFESSIONAL MASTER'S PROGRAM (iPMP)

The International Professional Master's Program (iPMP) at NAMTECH is a one-year residential program designed to develop industry-ready professionals in Smart Manufacturing, Robotics, Semiconductors, and Sustainability. A key highlight of the program is the integration of MIT’s 2.008 – Design & Manufacturing II,where young engineers gain hands-on experience in product design, prototyping, and mass production—critical skills for advanced manufacturing and global competitiveness.

With a strong emphasis on industry collaboration, experiential learning, and cutting-edge technologies, iPMP equips participants with the expertise to drive innovation in high-growth sectors. The program is ideal for professionals seeking global exposure, real-world problem-solving skills, and leadership opportunities in the rapidly evolving manufacturing ecosystem.

1+1 Pathway Program

NAMTECH in collaboration with Purdue University Northwest, USA, presents the 1+1 Pathway Program, enabling interested iPMP students at NAMTECH to spend an additional year towards a prestigious Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (MSME) degree.

With a well-crafted credit transfer model, this pathway enables students to study, gain global exposure and access cutting-edge research facilities at PNW, without having to give any additional tests and applications.

Year 1 at NAMTECH, India

  • Enroll in NAMTECH’s iPMP in Smart Manufacturing
  • Complete the program at NAMTECH and earn 12 credits
  • Meet the academic eligibility and allied conditions for the PNW Pathway Program

Year 2 at PNW, USA*

  • Join PNW, USA through the NAMTECH credit transfer pathway
  • Complete the remaining 18 credit requirement at PNW campus
  • Earn your Masters of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
*Participation in 1+1 Pathway program is entirely voluntary and is not a mandatory requirement of the iPMP in Smart Manufacturing Program. The program is designed to provide additional learning opportunities, skill development, or extracurricular engagement.
